Annual Fund
At St. Bernard Academy, the Annual Fund is critical to our fiscal health as the money raised flows directly into our operating budget.
Virtually all independent schools need to raise revenue through an annual fund to cover operating expenses. Tuition only covers 87% of the cost of educating each student. Raising tuition to a level that completely covers the operating budget asks only current parents to contribute, but SBA is a community that extends beyond the parents of our current students.
The Annual Fund gives all of our supporters including alumni, grandparents, past parents, and friends the opportunity to contribute with a tax-deductible donation, offsetting the rising cost of tuition. Your donation also helps us make an SBA education accessible to more families.
The Annual Fund provides immediate funding for student and faculty needs. It allows us to take advantage of new opportunities and add value to our school. This means it helps to fund items like the salary of your favorite teacher, technology and software, literacy programs, fine arts, student support services, student activities, athletics, campus security, and much more.

give to the annual fund
SBA does a fantastic job of keeping each student engaged and learning regardless of their ability; and, they work very hard to put the best interests of our children first. I give to the Annual Fund each year because my gift provides financial flexibility to the SBA administration to create and try new learning experiences for all its students.
