Tuition and Financial Aid
At St. Bernard Academy, our administration and Board of Trustees work diligently each year to keep tuition increases to a minimum while continuing to expand the opportunities and broaden the experience our students receive.
While there is an expectation that all families will make some tuition contribution, no family should assume that an SBA education is out of reach solely for financial reasons. We are committed to offering financial assistance when needed.
Enrollment Fee and Contract
For incoming students, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $500 is due with the enrollment contract. This fee is a portion of the total tuition for the upcoming school year.
Tuition cost and payment options
The cost of tuition for the 2020-2021 school year is $13,670 and includes textbooks, lab fees, field trips, and technology equipment. Tuition does not include the cost of school uniforms, school supplies, school lunch program, or SBA Aftercare.
There are currently three tuition payment options:
- Single Payment Plan
- Semi-Annual Payment Plan (July and January)
- Monthly (July - April)
Tuition Refund Insurance Plan
Families may choose to participate in a tuition refund plan that would insure partial payment of unpaid tuition and fees or refund of prepaid tuition and fees. Please contact the Business Office for details at (615) 385-0440.
We strongly encourage you to complete the financial aid application process by the end of February each year in order to determine your need. Please note that admission decisions are made separately of a family's financial aid application.
