Welcome to St. Bernard Academy's 2020-2021 Virtual Registration!

General information and sign-ups for SBA activities and services are below. Please read the directions carefully as submission information varies. ACH Debit/Authorization Form

This form is required for all semi-annual and monthly tuition payment options as well as aftercare/bus monthly fee payments. To submit this form, please:

  • Download the fillable PDF form by clicking the button below. Please note that the form can be completed directly on your computer and then saved/printed out OR printed out and completed by hand.
  • Attach a voided check to your completed form and return it to Leona Floyd in the SBA Office.

bus service

Bus service is available to and from SBA beginning on the first full day of school. Pick-up and drop-off are available from Brentwood (Brentwood Library) and East Nashville (Eastwood Christian Church). To sign up for the SBA Bus Service, please:

  • Review the 2020-2021 Bus Guidelines
  • Download and complete the fillable PDF form by clicking the button below
  • Please make sure to save your completed form before uploading, otherwise it will be submitted blank.
  • Submit your completed form by providing your name and e-mail and uploading the form in the area below

school e-mail communications

School e-mail communications including Bear Facts and other special notices are sent via our website communications platform. If, for some reason, you have not been receiving school communications and would like to ensure that you are added, please complete the form below.

If you are already receiving our e-mail communications, you do not need to complete this form UNLESS you need to update or add an additional e-mail. If any of this needs to be updated in TADS, please contact Laura Webb.

Home and School Association (HSA)

The St. Bernard Academy Home and School Association (HSA) is a parent organization dedicated to the successful education of your children through volunteerism and financial support of the school. Every parent or guardian at SBA is a member of HSA. Information on the 2020-2021 SBA Home and School Association, including this year’s executive committee and a letter from Co-Presidents Jill Baltz and Kelly McGill-Barrett, has been posted on the HSA page. Check this page often for HSA updates and information!

SBA Parent Portal

The SBA Parent Portal is your source for SBA parent resources and information including forms, links to other parent logins, and calendar info. You can access the Parent Portal via the "login" tab on the homepage of the website at stbernardacademy.org/parent-portal.

The SBA News page is a helpful resource for SBA-related news, resources, and information. Announcements and resources are posted here as well a link to view the weekly Bear Facts.
 

aftercare

Aftercare information for the 2020-2021 school year, including calendar and rates, will be posted here and on the Aftercare page as soon as it becomes available.

lunch (chef's food service)

This year, In compliance with the CDC and the Catholic Schools of Nashville reopening protocols, Chefs Food Service has designed a balanced and nutritional to-go style lunch menu including pre-made salads, soups, and hot menu items. As mandated guidelines are lifted, the menu of options available will be revised. Lunch will not be served in the Dining Hall.

Please note that, for the 2020-2021 school year, lunch registration will not be physically collected from the student. Instead:

  • Students will be asked to choose their lunch preference 24-hours in advance during a lunch roll call each morning.
  • Payments will need to be made on the Chef’s Food Service website before the start of the first day of the school year. To pay your $200.00 meal plan deposit, click on the button below.

athletics

Students wishing to participate on an SBA athletic team must submit an Athletic Health Form. To do so:

  • Download the Athletic Health Form by clicking the button below
  • Have the form completed by the student's physician
  • Submit your completed form by providing your name/email and uploading the form in the area below OR return the completed form to SBA Athletic Director, Jonathan Grigsby

Please note that the Diocese of Nashville has announced that there will be no fall sports until all schools are back in session.

music city arts academy

This year, Music City Arts Academy is pleased to be offering private music lessons taught by specialists in the following areas: piano, voice, drum, and violin. MCAA offers 12, 30 minute lessons a semester; start date will be announced after school begins. In an effort to reduce movement in the building and help eliminate health risks, lessons will only be offered after school. Space is limited so registration is on a first come, first served basis. To sign up for private music lessons:

  • Review the 2020-2021 MCAA Student Policies
  • Download and complete the registration form by clicking the button below
  • Send in the completed registration form and fee (via check or Venmo) to Renee Thompson

guitar school of nashville

Instruction for all fretted instruments, including guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bass and banjo, is offered by Janet McLaughlin of Guitar School of Nashville. Lessons will be set up and scheduled right after school Monday through Friday; start date will be announced after school begins. Lessons are also available through Zoom if preferred. To sign up for lessons, contact Janet McLaughlin.

Please note that, this year, all safety guidelines and precautions will be used. Before all lessons students will wash hands and the room will be appropriately sanitized in between lessons. Masks will be worn and the 6’ social distancing maintained.

band

Band will be available again this year beginning after Labor Day. Advance Band will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM and Beginning Band will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM. More information, including remote learning information, will follow.
