Our Testimonials

St. Bernard was an amazing place to spend nine formative years of my life, and it shaped the person I have become in so many ways. What keeps me going is my belief that a life well-spent is one that strives to make the world a better place, a belief I developed at SBA.

We are so grateful that such dedicated and compassionate educators are providing our grandchildren with the necessary tools to become lifelong learners and meet their individual potential. We feel blessed to be part of the SBA family and appreciate the excellent spiritual and academic education they are receiving there.

St. Bernard left a mark on me that drew me right back to where I started. Each teacher at SBA went the extra mile for their students and showed me how to teach students to love to learn.

My son thrives in the loving, nurturing community at St. Bernard Academy. I am grateful that every teacher knows my child well and offers him tremendous support and love.

Join us for Catholic Schools Week 2020: January 27 - 31! This year, the SBA Student Council has chosen to support Vanderbilt Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

all day
MPR

This year, in honor of the 20+ NICU patients treated at Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt each day, SBA students are pledging to 'rock' their recess, spending a break on Wednesday or Thursday during Catholic Schools Week rocking in a rocking chair while holding a baby doll. Homerooms will compete to see who can "rock" the most and raise the most money. The winning homeroom will earn a special walk through of the NICU ambulance on Friday and special prizes will be awarded to the students who raise the three highest amounts. This will be the big fundraiser for our CSW 2020 sponsor and we are hoping to have the biggest amount raised yet.

Students will assemble necklace kits and write cards as their CSW hands-on service project beginning at 8:00 AM, 7th Level students will attend the Diocesan Mass at the Pastoral Center beginning at 10:00 AM, and "Rock Your Recess" begins during student breaks for all levels.
