Process

• Parents are strongly encouraged to attend a small group tour of our facilities. Please call 615.385.0440 to schedule this visit.
• Prospective students are encouraged to schedule a full day visit to SBA to experience the classroom, meet SBA's students and teachers, go to lunch in our Dining Hall, and visit with SBA's Admissions Director.

• Application
  Parent completes the application and sends to SBA with $75 non-refundable fee. There is no deadline and applications are accepted year-round. It is recommended the application be turned in by January 3rd.
• Request for Records
  Parent sends Request for Records form to current pre-school (for Kindergarten) or school (for 1st through 7th). The pre-school will mail the form to SBA. Parent sends Teacher Recommendation form to current pre-school teacher. Teachers should return recommendations directly to SBA, preferably by February 1st.
• Financial Aid
  Parents request financial aid complete financial aid forms (sent separately once the application is complete) and submit to the independent agency with its required fee. Financial Aid awards are determined in April separate from admission decisions.
• Admissions Testing
  SBA sends parents notification of scheduled Admissions Testing for a date and time in February. The testing fee is $100 and is non-refundable.
• Decision Letters
  SBA sends admission decision letters by March 1st for applications completed within the suggested time frames. Late applications will be processed as soon as possible.
