Carl J. Sabo
Head of School
Mr. Carl J. Sabo begins his sixth year as the St. Bernard Academy Head of School. His service of 20 years to Catholic education includes roles as teacher, coach, school administrator and college advancement officer. Mr. Sabo combines an MBA with a degree in education to connect the business end of this school with the academic traditions of the Sisters of Mercy.
Curt Winter
Assistant Head of School
Mr. Curt Winter is the newest member of the SBA Administrative Team. Mr. Winter has been involved in Catholic education for 30 years and has earned a Masters degree and Educational Specialists in Educational Administration. He comes to St. Bernard Academy from Mater Dei High School in Breese, IL where he served as a teacher, coach, principal and school president. As president, he was responsible for the overall operation of the school and supervising a faculty and staff of sixty five and a student population of 600. |
